ASSISTANT BREWER

The Exchange Brewery in Niagara-on-the-Lake is currently looking for a passionate and driven person to fill the PART-TIME position of Assistant Brewer on our team.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

·         Assist with wort production and cellar operations
·         General brewery cleaning as per SOPs
·         Washing and filling kegs
·         Bottling, canning, labeling, and preparing products for transport
·         Transporting products to our warehouse, distributors and Niagara licensees with Sprinter van
·         Loading trucks, moving barrels and other materials with standard forklift (training will be provided)
·         Assist Brewer with draft line and canning line cleaning

Candidate Qualifications:

·         Must be able to lift and move with ease up to 40 kg
·         Must have a valid Driver’s License
·         Legally authorized to work in Canada
·         Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods and comfortable working at heights
·         Must be tolerant of variable working conditions (heat/cold/humidity)
·         Must be committed to the team and a safe work environment
·         Brewery or winery experience and/or education a plus
