Niagara’s Beer Festival, celebrating the best of Ontario’s sour beers.
Niagara-on-the-Lake, Monday, February 14th – Mark your calendars! The 2022 Edition of Sourpalooza Festival will be happening on Saturday, March 26th 2022 at The Exchange Brewery: 7 Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s edition will be more intimate and comply with strict health protocols. Despite this, it is sure to be a very exciting day for craft-beer lovers who will get to enjoy carefully curated sour beers from The Exchange Brewery and other participating Ontario-based breweries.
Festival’s Mission
As Niagara’s first and only sour beer focused festival, Sourpalooza Festival was created by The Exchange Brewery in 2018, for sour beer lovers, with the mission of celebrating some of the best sour beers from Ontario and highlighting the talent of the passionate brewers and people behind this craft.
The 2022 Edition
After having to cancel the 2021 edition as well as having to offer a virtual-only edition in 2020, The Exchange Brewery team is very excited to be working again on a “real” physical Sourpalooza Festival. We’re looking forward to once again meeting, in-person, craft beer lovers from Ontario and beyond. As with in the past years, The Exchange Brewery has teamed up with other Ontario breweries to create an exclusive selection of new and/or exclusive sour beers for people to sip and enjoy.
Tickets
Tickets ($75.00+hst/person) will go on sale on Thursday February 17th on exchangebrewery.com. Sales will close on Friday, March 25th (or earlier if sold out). Three (3) different sessions will be available to choose from: Session #1: 12pm – 3pm; Session #2: 3pm – 6pm; Session #3: 6pm – 9pm.
Each ticket will include a personal table during your reserved time (to ensure social distancing), various snacks and a Sourpalooza kit, including: a branded Souvenir glass, a bottle of water and a sampling passport to sample 2 beers from each participating brewery. Note that all seating and tastings will be happening outdoors, and masks will be required when not seated.
