Amid Stage 1 of re-opening Ontario businesses, The Exchange Brewery is opening a new beer “walk-thru” service. The walk-thru booth will be located on 7 Queen Street built into the front door of The Exchange Brewery building and will be open Tuesday – Sunday, between the hours of 10am and 6pm. This will allow customers full access to the brewery’s retail store while the tasting room remains closed to the public.
The booth will be protected by plexiglass windows and include a large counter for contact-less payments and the transfer of purchases from the brewery’s staff to our customers. The Exchange Brewery’s whole selection of beer bottles, cans, growlers and merchandise items will be available for take-out. Menus will be available on the brewery’s windows and are also available on the brewery’s online store. Only plastic card payments will be accepted.
“The idea behind opening a walk-thru booth is to offer to our customers the chance to socially interact with our knowledgeable staff, while keeping safe measures in check.” says Robin Ridesic, CEO and founder of The Exchange Brewery. “Customers will be able to ask for beer recommendations from our staff and re-kindle that social bond we all miss. Although we are now allowed to open our retail store for walk-ins we’ve opted to not do so yet as we think our walk-thru service is the best option for helping ensure the well-being of our staff, our customers and the whole NOTL community.”
Along with this new beer walk-thru booth, The Exchange Brewery will continue to offer free local home deliveries for Niagara residents living within 25km of the brewery (7 days a week), and a curb-side pick-up option (Monday-Tuesday, 10am-6pm) for anyone living outside of the delivery zone or yearning to stretch their legs and make their way to the brewery.
The Exchange Brewery is also continuing to offer free beer to Niagara health-care workers, to thank them for their amazing work! Over 400 Niagara workers have taken us up on our offer.
