So, make sure you come down to the brewery that weekend to try them all – and even bring home a few. Here’s a roundup for you.

ANNIVERSARY RELEASES

  • Cerise – Released exclusively on tap, on February 8, 2018.

ABV 7.7% | IBU 8 | SRM 33. A strong Belgian Golden ale aged in wine barrels, with a tertiary fermentation with 300 pounds of sour cherries. Pink and tart. Fruity, funky, delicious.

  • Peach Pi – Released on tap & in bottle (750ml), on February 8, 2018.

ABV 6.4% | IBU 21 | SRM 8. This Blonde ale began with a short lactic fermentation in the kettle before its journey to wine barrels. It was aged on a generous amount of peaches with cinnamon bark, vanilla beans and a touch of Brettonamyces. Nature’s candy in your hand, or beer, or pie.

  • Grand Cru Vintage 2016 – Released on tap & in bottle (750ml), on February 8, 2018.

ABV 7.5% | IBU 29 | SRM 9. This ale is brewed with subtle spices and aged for 1 year on pressed grapes from our friends at Pearl Morissette Estate Winery. Dry and vinous with complex fruit bouquet.

  • Brett Table Beer – Exclusive Cask, tapped on February 8, 2018

ABV 5% | IBU 25 | SRM 5. This funky and tart farmhouse ale is a frankenstein-esque blend of worts from Session Saison brews, fermented with our house brettanomyces culture for two months. This cask is the only one produced so get it while you can!

  • Winter Warmer – Exclusive Cask, tapped on February 9, 2018

ABV 10% | IBU 22 | SRM 19. This beer is perfect for a cold winter’s night, brewed with oats, Munich malt, wheat, chocolate malts and spices (cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorns and orange peel). This heavy hitter has a medium body with mild sweetness and a light warming sensation on the finish.

  • Belgian Pale Ale with Cranberry – Exclusive Cask, tapped on February 10, 2018

ABV 7.5% | IBU 29 | SRM 9. This cask was aged on 2 kg of cranberries for 3 months. Flavours of toasted bread balance the tartness of the cranberries. Light body and refreshing dry finish.

  • Old Ale – Exclusive Cask, tapped on February 10, 2018

ABV 9% | IBU 40 | SRM 6. This cask is a preview to the release of our collaboration brew with Fairweather  Brewing Co. A cask prepared in the true English style: beer was taken directly from the fermenter and allowed to finish its fermentation in the cask, naturally carbonating and conditioning in its serving vessel. If you love real cask ales, this is the brew for you. A balance of lightly toasted malts and fruity esters from Windsor ale yeast blended with UK Pilgrim hops leave you wanting more of this full-bodied brew. This is the only cask produced, the rest of our collaboration brew is aging in barrels with brettanomyces for release later this year.

IN OTHER NEWS… After a collab brew with Fairweather Brewing Co, our Exchange Brewers are excited about more fun, collaborative brews this year, including one with the Beer Sisters (an Elderflower and Honey Saison) and with their neighbors at Silversmith Brewing Company (an Imperial Black Lager).// Rumour has it The Exchange Brewery’s most popular Summer beers (the Berliner Weisse and the Hefeweizen) will soon be made available in cans… more details to come.
