We at The Exchange Brewery, in partnership with the Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce, are excited to announce that our brewery-run, sour beer focused festival is returning for its second edition: on September 7th, 2019, at the Old Court House in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
Sourpalooza Beer Festival will gather together breweries to celebrate some of the best sour beers from Ontario and beyond. As Niagara’s first and only sour beer focused festival, Sourpalooza was created for sour beer lovers and anyone with an interest in this rapidly growing segment of the craft beer market. Attendees will sample unique brews provided by Ontario breweries and meet the passionate people behind the craft. There will be 20+ beers to sample and savour.
“We are very excited for the return of Sourpalooza this fall, after the success of last year’s festival. Having some of Ontario’s best sour producers in house for the event was very special for the brewers and attendees, coming together to sample and ‘geek-out’ over some great beer. Due to tickets selling out last year, we have added more tickets to this year’s festival as well as expanded our Ontario and International brewery lineup. It will be great to see some of our old friends and some new surprises at Sourpalooza this year!” says Sam Maxbauer, Head Brewer at The Exchange Brewery.
The Exchange Brewery has sourced some unique and delicious out of province sour offerings. We will be pouring these samples complimentary for ticket holders, at the communal bar.
