7:00pm-8:30pm: Caskabunga Creation!
We’ve had a lot of fun at The Exchange over the last 3 summers coming up with awesome ideas for Caskabunga (our weekly Cask feature every Friday from May – September). It’s your turn to get creative and create 2 casks that will be featured at the brewery in August.
Come prepared with ideas, we will be using 2 base beers: Session Saison & a light Farmhouse Ale. It will be up to you to add complimentary ingredients to the casks to create a unique one of a kind brew! We will have a variety of ingredients on hand but feel free to bring anything you think will make these casks shine!
The first half of the meeting will be finding out exactly what cask ales are with our Growler Club Meeting host Mike and then tasting the base beers and deciding as a group what the added ingredients will be.
Following this process Sam our head brewer will guide us through determining how much of what to put into the cask and showing you how it’s done!
