This year, we’re shaking things up with a killer lineup of small, new and super exciting breweries from across Ontario — the hidden gems you NEED to try!
We’re all about supporting new, small, and up-and-coming breweries that are brewing bold & creative sour beers that you won’t find at your local LCBO. We’ll also have some palate-cleansing clean brews and non-alcoholics for you to sample at this year’s palooza.

When is Sourpalooza:
Sourpalooza Craft Beer Festival is on October 10th & 11th. There are 3 session times you can purchase tickets to:
- Session #1 | Friday October 10: 4pm – 9pm
- Session #2 | Saturday October 11: 12pm – 3pm
- Session #3 | Saturday October 11: 5pm – 8pm
Sourpalooza is taking place at The Exchange Brewery, 7 Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake. The entrance to the festival is on King St. via the brewery driveway.
What is Sourpalooza:
Sourpalooza is a craft beer festival featuring sour, wild fermented, mix-culture, funky and tart beers made by the best Ontario sour beer producers. We will also have some light pallet cleansing beers and non-alc brews on hand! Sourpalooza Craft Beer Festival has been an annual event hosted by The Exchange Brewery since 2018.
Why Sourpalooza:
The Exchange Brewery loves sour beer! We specialize in making this niche style and want to share the love of sour beers with other Ontario craft breweries and sour beer consumers!
How Do tokens Work:
How Do Tickets Work:
You can purchase your tickets through our online store (HST already added to ticket price). This includes your entrance to your selected session. When you arrive you will receive a branded sampling glass and water bottle. There is no food or snacks included in your ticket price, but you can purchase food tokens at our token booth. Entrance to the festival is on King Street, when purchasing your ticket you will receive a confirmation e-mail, please have this ready at the festival entrance.
Group Tickets: Get 2 more tokens upon entry when you book as a group of 4! When checking out on our site, enter the name of the person purchasing the tickets. You must all enter the festival with the person who purchased your group tickets at one time.
Will There Be Food:
Pizza & snacks will be available for purchase from the ExB kitchen throughout the festival via our token booth.
Can I Bring My Baby:
Sourpalooza is a 19+ event, IDs will be checked at the door. Small infants (20 months or under) who remain strapped to their parent via a body carrier are permitted.
Can I Bring My Pet:
Although The Exchange Brewery patio is dog friendly during regular operations only working certified service dogs will be permitted into the event. The festival environment can be very high energy and too stimulating for our furry companions.
How Many Breweries Will Be Featured:
There will be multiple Ontario craft breweries featured at the festival. Keep an eye on our socials and website to see which breweries are attending.
Retail:
There will be Sourpalooza Merchandise available for purchase including additional sample glasses, water bottles and new Sourpalooza branded t-shirts. Note: Attending breweries may bring merch of their own and might not have a POS system to charge cards on hand. In this case, bring cash as backup if needed, there is no ATM on site.
Driving?:
All good! All tokens can be used for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
